LAYERED CLOTHING

This system will ensure your comfort and warmth throughout your sports activities.

It's important to respect the 3 layers to maximize effectiveness.

base layer, mid-layer, and outer layer

1. Base Layer: The first layer that is in contact with your skin, so it's important to choose a breathable garment to allow moisture wicking. Without this wicking, you will quickly get cold!

2. Mid-Layer: The central layer that provides additional insulation to keep warmth close to the body. Fleece-type fabrics are often used for this layer; however, if the cold is more intense, "puffy" jackets may be more relevant.

3. Outer Layer: The final layer's job is to protect you primarily from wind or rain. We suggest a windbreaker, a raincoat, or, if the cold is freezing, an insulated jacket.

To avoid - synthetic fabrics like cotton are not recommended as a base layer; they are not breathable, which will ensure you get cold.
