DESIGN
When designing a semi-custom jersey, should white areas remain white? No. The only fixed element when creating a semi-custom design is the graphic itself. Colors can be changed as desired, and logos can be placed anywhere you wish. |
Are there any fees for additional colors? No. Apogée Sports offers unlimited color choices. This heat transfer printing method allows all images and graphics to be printed in full color. Sublimation ensures sharp lines and vibrant colors. This technology enables us to be efficient while reducing costs. |
Can I see a sample of my custom design before receiving it?We produce a fabric color test for all custom clothing orders. You will have a choice of several shades for each of the main colors of your garments, and you can also confirm the fabric choice. The test will be presented to you once the design is approved. |
In what format should I send my logos?Logos must be vector files in .EPS or .AI format. If you use an image like PNG or TIFF, it must be high resolution (300+ dpi). JPEG graphics lose quality and, as such, often print very poorly and are not recommended. If graphics cannot be provided in vector format, additional fees will be charged for our team to trace missing logos, if the quality of the provided images allows us to do so. |
I want to create my own vector design using Adobe Illustrator. Can I get the design templates?Yes, visit the design templates page to download the file that corresponds to the desired garments. Keep in mind that, while you may be quite skilled in design, we will always present your design to Apogée's design department to ensure internal quality control elements within our system. |
Do you charge for custom design creation? The first 3 versions of the design are free. After the 3rd version, additional fees may apply. Make sure you have all logos and design instructions before starting the process to optimize the time allotted for your design. |
I'm not sure what I want; can you help me create a design? Our design team is fully capable of creating something specific to your needs. It is helpful to provide us with as much information as possible, including but not limited to, the desired style/design elements, images, and colors. Inspiration images are also very useful to illustrate what you have in mind to our team. |
Do I have to have the Apogée logo on my custom apparel? We are proud of our products and want to ensure consistency across all our products. Therefore, logos cannot be removed, moved, or shrunk. |
Can I work directly with one of your designers?Yes! You will be in direct contact with a designer throughout the creation of your apparel. |
Are Pantone / CMYK the same as the colors Apogée uses?Pantone colors and those used by Apogée are very similar and use the same CMYK. However, colors appear differently on computers and mobile devices. Once your design is approved, a color test will be automatically sent to you so you can confirm the desired colors. |
